The idea for A Healing Space was hatched by our chiropractor, Dr. Adam Drapkin. Adam felt the need in our community for a place where a patient could receive all the care they needed under one roof. He believed that if he brought top professionals in their field together, gave them support staff that they can count on, and housed them all in a beautiful, eco-friendly environment, patients would feel the difference and keep coming back. He was right. A Healing Space incorporates it's philosophy into everything here, even the building design and construction. It is here you will come for expert advice and treatment. Come and heal with us.
"Helping my husband Adam with A Healing Space has been an amazing creative outlet. We spent many months talking, planning and finally creating it. We make a good team. I feel like this is an extension of my home and everyone working here is my extended family.
When I first started supporting myself it was very important for me to enjoy my work. One of my continuing goals is for A Healing Space to be an enjoyable place for people who work here as well as patients.
I come from builders and woodworkers on both sides of my family. My grandfather was born in Sweden and took me there when I was 11. Being in a country with such amazing architecture was the beginning of my love for interesting design. I have been passionate about organic food and healthy, green products for our bodies as well as green building since I was a teenager. I also have my family to thank for introducing me to alternative healthcare when I was young. It led me to practice massage for 12 years.
My favorite thing to do is hang out with my husband and my daughter Stella."
