Fall has arrived and so have two more therapists!
We've been a little short-staffed on massage therapists recently and we apologize if you've had any difficulty making an appointment. In our effort to offer more massage therapy to you, we’ve brought on staff two new massage therapists who we think you are sure to love:
Sarananda Castle: Licensed Massage Therapist 
Practicing massage since 2001, Sarananda tailors each session to the needs of her clients using intuitive touch and integrative techniques. Her practice includes Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage along with energy work and therapeutic grade essential oils, if desired. She is a trained Reiki practitioner who also offers Pregnancy Massage, Energy Balancing sessions, and Raindrop Therapy.
Nicholas Johnston: Licensed Massage Therapist
Practicing since 2006, Nicholas’ massage is direct and technical with a flow that encourages your body to become more fluid and relaxed. Beginning with warming strokes and range of motion stretching, the work then goes deeper to help release any tension that may be present. His touch is gentle, but deep so you are not pushed to feeling pain. Primarily he practices a mixture of Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian), Deep Tissue, Neural Muscular Therapy, and Cranio-sacral.
Reminder: Early Bird Special
All massages that start before 11:30 am will be discounted to $65 if they are paid in full at the time of service. What a great way to try out a new therapist or get in before the work day begins!
Upcoming Additions and Events
Within the next few weeks we will begin offering physical therapy services. We are excited to add a Becky Lipton to our staff so that we may offer you the benefits only a physical therapist can provide. More to come!
We are pleased to announce the addition of Thermographic Health Screening and Thermographic Breast Screening to our office. Thermography has proven to be an effective screening tool in the early detection of a host of chronic diseases and many types of cancer, and does an especially good job with the early detection of breast cancer. We are pleased to be able to offer Thermographic Screenings to you beginning in October. Deborah Sanders, RN has been giving thermographic screenings for over ten years and will available by appointment on Friday mornings. Please feel free to call her at (541)852-1497 to make an appointment. We will have a Thermographic Screening Open House at A Healing Space on October 21st at 4:00pm. There will be a presentation and demonstration of Thermographic Health Screening so be sure to mark your calendars.
