According to the Ayurvedic principle of “Rutucharya”, or seasonal routine, fall is an ideal time for a period of intentional, focused self-care – an opportunity to cultivate some healthy new habits and let go of some old, not-so-healthy ones.  For some, this means cleansing.  For others, this means rest & rejuvenation.  Upasana will be offering both a 9-day coached group cleanse and a 5-day supported “rejuvenation therapy” program this fall.

If you’re feeling tired, out of sorts, in need of rest and a fresh start to face the coming winter and holiday season, join us for this free seminar on October 6th and let Upasana help you determine which path might be right for you. The Ayurvedic approach to seasonal routine will help you build immunity and feel clearer, stronger and more energized in the coming winter season.  Below you'll find more details on the two different options.

5-day Rejuvenation Therapy
Individual coached programs available, or form your own support group!

This is the perfect introduction to seasonal “cleansing” – but it isn’t really a cleanse, per se.  It is a focused program of intentional self-care, a time to rest and reflect and rejuvenate, with supporting practices and guidance in the cultivation of new healthy habits. 

This program is designed for beginners, or for those who are living a healthy lifestyle but who have a more “vata” constitution (air & ether types), who tend toward anxiety, an inability to focus, and/or insomnia. 

Fall is vata season, and a deep cleanse this time of year can be unsettling for someone with a strong vata constitution or a chronic vata imbalance.  Instead, this program allows for a gentle release of tension and toxins, and deep rest. 

The Rejuvenation Therapy will consist of a customized set of self-nurturing practices, a simple, clean, grounding, nutritious diet, optional body work, and ongoing support.  It can be scheduled over a long weekend, or any time the participant can clear his or her schedule to focus completely on self care.
​9-day “Mini-Panchakarma” Cleanse
Group cleanse dates: 
October 17-25

Individual coached cleanses also available on your schedule

This cleanse is designed for individuals who have been following a healthy lifestyle and diet for some time, and are ready for some deep cleansing of toxic build-up in the body. 

A shortened version of the traditional “panchakarma” treatment of Ayurveda, (which takes a lot more time & money), this cleanse is most effective for individuals with “pitta” constitutions (fire types) who tend toward inflammatory responses in the body, and “kapha” constitutions (earth & water types), who tend toward weight gain and congestion.

The 9-day cleanse is customized to each individual and includes several focused steps to loosen deep toxins, rest the digestive system with a “mono-diet” (but no fasting!), and practices to support what is ready to be released – both physical and non-physical!  

To get the greatest benefit from this cleanse protocol, it is strongly recommended that participants clear their schedules (including time off work) during the cleanse period.
