Turmeric - The Healing Spice
One of the best parts about working with such talented and knowledgeable staff is the great food, recipes, and information we get to share. A few days ago a recipe for a turmeric paste/spread showed up on our kitchen whiteboard, and it is easy, delicious, and full of healthy benefits.
Other things that turmeric can help with are increasing antioxidants, decreasing blood pressure, increasing immune system function, increasing memory and brain function, and supporting detoxification of the liver. There are several studies that tout even more benefits of turmeric, but this is just the beginning of the list shared on our staff whiteboard.
- 1/4 cup turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1/2 cup water
