Rachel began her journey in the healing arts over 18 years ago when she received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Kinesiology from the University of WI. She worked as a personal trainer focusing on strengthening the core of the body and teaching about healthy lifestyles. She added to her understanding of the body by studying massage therapy at the Oregon School of Massage. She specialized in Swedish massage, deep tissue and Cranio-Sacral therapy.
Rachel was proud to receive her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she learned about all aspects of healing the body, mind and spirit. Rachel concurrently studied herbal medicine, homeopathy, Touch for Health Kinesiology, traditional midwifery and pre-conception health care. She feels these skills have been a great asset to her life, both personally and professionally.
Rachel feels her approach to health care is a culmination of all of her education and life experiences. She has worked with individuals of all ages and with numerous conditions, such as celiac disease, gluten intolerance, metabolic syndrome, and attention and behavioral issues. Rachel enjoys assisting others in their exploration of health, bringing their lives into balance and guiding them on the sacred path of healing. |
