Sharon Rose, CA
Frequency Specific Microcurrent, Flower Essence Therapy, Rain Drop Therapy

Picture
My gentle and compassionate approach creates a safe and trusting environment that facilitates the healing of disharmony in the body.  I use a variety of techniques that address a wide range of conditions that unwind and release both physical and emotional limitations.

Tell us about your primary training and any continuing education you have done.
My initial training was with my Nana. She was a healer, and made teas with the herbs she gathered. She was intuitive, deeply compassionate, and taught me the ways of "knowing" or "feeling". Professionally, I received my diploma and license in Nursing right after high school. After working in 3 hospitals I discovered it wasn't for me. I then trained for 8 years with a Chiropractor, Dr. Castelino, in Santa Barbara, CA. There I assisted and continued training in Polarity Therapy, Loving Relationships, Massage, Nutrition and Flower Essence Therapy. I became a licensed massage therapist in California in 1985, followed by certification as a Chiropractic Assistant in 1986. To add to my skills, I became certified as a Flower Essence Therapist and a Frequency Specific Micro-Current (FSMC) Practitioner. In my work, I also implement my training in Raindrop Massage Therapy applying essential oils to the spine, and relexology points on the hands and feet.

I have attended the Core and Advanced FSMC trainings with Dr. Carol McMakin, and recently CPR training, LCC Alternative Medicine Course, Stonebridge Flower Essence Certification, and the Chiropractic Assistant Brush up Seminar with Dr. Athena Paradise (Portland). And…I read, read, read a wide array of articles, books on Flower Essence, as well as literature on Healing and Spiritual Wellness. I am "continually educated by life and the people I see at the clinic as well as my children and grandchildren.

Building rapport is important to me in creating a safe and trusting environment so that you can go to a deep place in your self and heal the disharmony creating disease. I use Micro-Current, Raindrop Therapy (which is particular massage techniques combined with application of Essential Oils) and Flower Essence Therapy, as well as healing touch through massage. Frequency Specific Micro-Current addresses a wide range of conditions, all spinal/muscular issues, emotional, disease related, and organ/gland disfuntions, through the administering of electricity at frequencies specific to tissue and conditions. Raindrop Therapy is deeply relaxing and cleansing, like a physical and emotional detox/ massage all rolled up in one. Flower Essences address both emotional and physical disturbances in the energetic field allowing one to experience courage, joy, love and strenth to make better choices in their life.

What issues are you best at addressing with your clients?
I would say any condition of the nervous system, viral complaints, and soft tissue/skeletal injuries. Frequency Specific Microcurrent and Flower Essence therapy address physical, emotional and spiritual disharmonies/conditions. Raindrop Therapy aids in the detoxifying of inflammation, releasing metals and poisons, eases the nervous system, and releases emotions that cause imbalance.

How do you assess clients?
I listen actively with kindness and curiosity. I liken it to detective work with intuition. Using my intuitive abilities, I ‘feel’ the patient with my own feelings, imagine how they experience what sensations they are having, visualizing the unwinding of their health, and where it arrived from past experiences, exposures, and beliefs.

Why did you choose this work?
I choose this field because it was what I always did from the time I can remember. I love helping to make animals and people feel better!  I choose FSMC because I had a personal experience with it as I recovered from a serious car accident.   The work changed a “closed brain condition”that I do not feel could have been healed any other
way.

Where were you born and how did you come to Eugene?
I was born in Los Angeles, CA. I came to Eugene from Colorado in 2002 because of Dakota (my grandson) and didn't want to miss out on being his Nana!

Share a little about your personal journey as a healing practitioner.  What life experiences have enriched or changed your work?
Having babies made me so aware of my body, its power to change and heal.  From an already curious nature about how the body heals, I was determined to become more educated in alternative medicine, food as medicine and having a deep relationship with my Soul Self. My greatest teacher was the real-life-training in how pain can change your life, teaching me compassion for what it’s like to live with pain.  As I recovered from a life-changing car accident it allowed me to experience how profound and powerful the journey to health can be, AND how effective alternative therapies can be.

What is your definition of healing?
Healing is the journey of freeing yourself of the limitations that block you from your ultimate potential. This is facilitated by opening to Body/Mind/Spirit/Soul communication and falling in love with yourself.  I believe strongly in creating the space of love and peace for you, while accompanying you along this journey. I feel you do not completely release the physical condition until the emotional issue has been addressed, eased and
understood. It is often difficult to "let go" of all the feelings, and part of my work is to assist you in coming to peace, acceptance and understanding of your trauma and pain during the healing process.

What are you passionate about professionally and personally?
Flower Essences, Flowers, sunshine, and my children. Professionally, the gift that I am honored to be present with you so intimately, allowed to look inside, and to accompany you in your healing process.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being a mom, making the Koi pond at my house, owning and managing my store in Colorado, and that most of the time I have followed my heart.

Personal Invitation
My greatest strength is my intuition and compassion. With over 22 years as a Complementary Health Care practitioner, I can provide you with effective modalities that connect you to your power, your
integrity and greater health. I see you as whole and believe in treating you, the whole person, not the disease.

How do you encourage and support clients in self-care at home?

I support clients with practical techniques, such as instructions for applying heat & cold packs, stretching, ournaling, using pillows, remembering their dreams, talking to their pain & bodies, asking for what they want and saying it out loud. Using NLP techniques and anchoring given to them in sessions.
